ProMed Physician Services
As a clinical and administrative occupational physician for more than fifteen years, I have investigated, researched and treated cumulative trauma (CTD’s) problems in the workplace. Since my medical interest lies in prevention of injuries and illnesses in the workplace, I invested years in looking at methodologies to define relative risks for CTD’s. The only tool that met my criteria of being statistically reproducible, scientifically acceptable, economically feasible and user friendly was the CtdMAP.

I personally have utilized the CtdMAP for more than ten thousand, post job offer applicants. The CtdMAP testing provides you with a tool that allows your medical provider to easily identify applicants or existing employees who are at risk to develop CTD’s. It is an effective tool to match applicants with the essential functions of the job. This results in prevention of injuries, which reduces spiraling workers compensation costs.

Employees are amazed at the turnkey simplicity and accuracy of the provided work guidelines. Furthermore, both insurance companies and medical providers now have a tool to predict outcomes of CTD’s. By identifying employees at risk, employers can tailor their ergonomic and risk management programs. The CtdMAP has literally saved hundreds of thousands of dollars in workers compensation costs.

In my opinion, the CtdMAP has revolutionized my practice of Occupational Medicine. In addition, the CtdMAP is another service that differentiates me from the competitive field of occupational providers, which makes me much more marketable.
